Well, it is a decision (both mine and of my doctor): I will have arthroscopic surgery to correct the broken ligaments of my right shoulder probably due January 22th, 2016. (it will be confirmed after a medical pre-surgical evaluation next friday January 15th and green light by my medical insurance). These will ment around 30 days of total immovilization post-surgery (no working or driving at all) and then 6 months of physio-therapy. The surgery would be performed in the private medical center Star Medica at Merida, Yucatan by shoulder trauma specialist Dr. Felipe Camara Arrugunaga.

Bueno, es una decisión (tanto mía como de mi médico): Tendré una cirugía artroscópica para corregir los ligamentos rotos del manguito rotador del hombro derecho probablemente el 22 de Enero de 2016 (fecha exacta a definirse tras evaluación pre-operatoria en Mérida este viernes 15 de Enero y trámites de seguro médico sean aprobados). La cirugía significa aproximadamente un mes de inmovilización total del hombro (incapacitado para trabajar y manejar) y después 6 meses de fisioterapia. La cirugía se llevará a cabo en el Centro Médico y hospital Star Médica de Mérida, Yucatán por el médico cirujano especialista en traumatología del hombro Dr. Felipe Cámara Arrugunaga.

In my case, the ligament it is not totally broken (as in the drawing above) but only partially broken, therefore; 1) it will be surgically repaired (with suture and wire) or 2) only one titanium bolt might need to be used to fix it. Will see!/ En mi caso no está completamente roto (como en el dibujo) sino parcialmente roto y por lo tanto; 1) posiblemente solo requiera coserse, reconstruirse y reconstituirse (con sutura y alambre) o, 2) fijarse con un solo tornillo de titanio. Ya lo veremos!
