Hasta hoy día, 543 especies pertenecientes a 75
familias de aves han sido registradas en los tres estados de la
Península de Yucatán (Campeche, Quintana Roo y Yucatán). De estas; 63
especies se consideran visitantes ocasionales. El total de especies de
aves representa el 50% de todas las aves registradas en México y
alrededor del 77% de todas las aves registradas en Norte América (EUA,
Canadá y México). ¿¡Increíble no!?

Up-to-date, 543 bird species belonging to 75 families have been registered
in the three states Campeche, Quintana Roo and Yucatán. Of these; 63
